Ian is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand, Fellow of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers in Australia, Registered BAS Agent and with over 30 years’ experience as a Financial Controller in importing, manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing businesses.

Ian continually updates his skills to keep pace with the rapid development of computer systems in the accounting environment and has undertaken the rigorous MYOB, XERO, Intuit Quickbooks Online and Sage One certification process requiring in depth knowledge of all the software.

Ian is also an accredited partner with a number of Add–On solutions and accredited with the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers as a BAS Supervising Agent and facilitates and runs monthly meetings for members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.

He also supervises workshops for MYOB User Groups and has served as a member of the MYOB Partner Advisory Group and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Advisory Board. Ian regularly participates in Beta testing for MYOB.

Ian has a comprehensive understanding of the compliance obligations under the Australian Taxation System and regularly identifies issues which could have taxation or business ramifications.

Phil has over 30 years’ experience in public practice. Phil is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the National Tax and Accountants Association, and is a Registered Tax Agent.

With a passion for small business, Phil’s caring approach and ability to translate technical information so that it’s easy to understand, has seen him grow his practice by servicing a number of long-term clients.

Phil has 3 adult daughters.

Outside the office, Phil is a keen sports follower. In the winter months he takes an active interest in, and attends many of the home games of his beloved Carlton football club. In the summer months, he relaxes by watching cricket. If the hours allow, Phil enjoys watching Tottenham Hotspurs play soccer in the EPL.

Phil is also involved in community organizations, primarily in the capacity as Treasurer.
